Welcome to Vardhman's 'Historical Tour in Rajasthan'! On arrival in Delhi,
you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra Morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra - check into the hotel.
visit Red Fort and Taj Mahal.
Red Fort - lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart
of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73
in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of
red sandstone and a moat.
Taj Mahal - This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by Emperor
Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal "the lady of the
Taj". It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever
built for love, for the emperor was heartbroken when Mumtaz died after
17 years of marriage, during the birth of her 14th child.The central
structure has four small domes surrounding the huge, central dome. Above
the tombs of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan are false tombs, a common practice
in Indian mausoleums. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday).

Day 04 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri -Jaipur Morning drive to Jaipur en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri
the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his
capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza
the largest gateway in the world. Thereafter continue drive to Jaipur.
Upon arrival in Jaipur - check into your hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur City tour of Jaipur
This morning you will experience the wonders of this magicial pink city,
as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort - which is set on the dry wrinkled
Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. We will ride up
to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant. Later visit
the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning with mirrors, Maharaja's
City Palace and the Observatory - The Solar Observatory - an astronomical
treasure house, with solar device that give accurate predictions till
date. The City Palace reflects a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a five-storied structure
of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows
overlooking the main street of the old city and through the rose pink
residential and business areas of Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur - Udaipur After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Udaipur is the jewel of MEWAR
-a kingdom ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for 1200 Years. Relax in the

Day 06: Udaipur Afrer breakfast at hotel proceed for the sightseeing of Udaipur.

Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake,
Sahelion ki Bari (Queen resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala
Mandir (Folk Art Museum)
Boat curise on Lake Pichola 4km long and 3km broad, surrounded by splendid
hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments.

Day 07: Udaipur - Jodhpur After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Relax in the hotel and visit the
museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE.

Day 08: Jodhpur Today Morning proceed for a village safari in the jeep and have
a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant
wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape
fascinates one while driving along the countryside.

Day 09: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer This morning after breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. Reach and check
in at hotel.

Day 10: Jaisalmer After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour
of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian
Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone.
The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate
balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the
world.

Day 11: Jaisalmer to Bikaner Today morning after breakfast at the camp. Continue with the safari
and reach Bikaner via NAGAUR.

Day 12: Bikaner - Mandawa After breakfast Proceed for sightseeing tour of Bikaner.
Visit Bikaner
Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long before this,
the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West
Asia. Bikaners dominant features are rippling sands and abundant
sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall,
which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing
walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque.
Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range
of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs.
Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke
Rat temple.
Afternoon drive to Mandwa .On arrival in Mandwa, check into your hotel.

Day 13: Mandawa - Delhi After breakfast procced for tour of Mandwa.
Visit Mandawa
Mandwa , found in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his
descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle,
one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of
collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient
coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved
in a museum.
A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business
families of the country.

New Delhi.

Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
