Welcome to Vardhman's 'Exotic Rajasthan Tour'! On arrival in Delhi, you
will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.
DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis
with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect
introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to
the kaleidoscope - that is India.

Day 02 : Delhi - Agra Morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check into the hotel.
Visit Red Fort and Taj Mahal.
Red Fort - lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of
the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73
in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of
red sandstone and a moat.
Taj Mahal - This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by Emperor
Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal "the lady of the Taj".
It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for
love, for the emperor was heartbroken when Mumtaz died after 17 years
of marriage, during the birth of her 14th child.The central structure
has four small domes surrounding the huge, central dome. Above the tombs
of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan are false tombs, a common practice in Indian
mausoleums. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday).

Day 03 : Agra - Jaipur After breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur
Sikri, the birth story of this beautiful city is interesting. There, in
a grotto in Sikri, lived a Muslim Saint , Sheikh Salim Chishti by name.
Akbar hearing of his renown, asked of the blessings of a son, and when
a son was born, not only was the child named Salim, the site for a mighty
and ambitious project - a city - was chosen near the residence of the
saint erected in k1569. Upon arrival at Jaipur check into your hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur After breakfast visit Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills
of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.
Amber Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient
capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja
Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a super example
of Rajput architecture.
Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum
having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons;
Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and
the façade of Hawa Mahal.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Pushkar After breakfast drive to Pushkar and on arrival, transfer to your
hotel.
Relax for a while.
Later proceed for the sightseeing of Pushkar.
Pushkar happens to be the holiest places according to the Hindus as
it is considered that Lord Brahma (the Creator) and his wife Saraswati
(the godess of learning and music) performed a ritual in the lake. Here
we visit the only Brahma temple, before intermingling with the local
colours in the local bazaar.

Day 06 : Pushkar - Ranthambhore After breakfast drive to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.
On arrival transfer to the hotel.

Day 07 : Ranthambhore After breakfast Full day ( two private safaris ) at Ranthambhore.

Day 08 : Ranthambhore - Kota After breakfast proceed for the morning SAFARI.
Later proceed for KOTA. Later proceed on a city tour of Kota.
City tour of Kota
Visit, Brijraj Bhawan Palace, a colonial style palace, situated on the
bank of river Chambal, was build in the early nineties. The palace has
large spacious rooms that are tastefully done up with antique furniture.
An intresting feature of the palace is the fact that almost all the
rooms overlook the Chambal river providing an arrresting view of the
mighty river.

Day 09 : Kota - Bundi - Chittaurgarh After breakfast at hotel start for Bundi. Visit the TARAGARH or
STAR FORT. SUKH MAHAL is a magnificent summer palace on the Sukh Sagar
Lake amid the lush surroundings of a beautiful garden. An underground
tunnel is believed to run from the Sukh Mahal to the old palace. Proceed
to CHITTAURGARH, THE EPITOME OF ROMANCE AND VALOUR.

Day 10 : Bijaipur - Udaipur Start for Udaipur after breakfast. Reach and check in at hotel.
Udaipur is the jewel of MEWAR -a kingdom ruled by the Sisodia dynasty
for 1200 Years. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 : Udaipur After breakfast at hotel proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur,
stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored
walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies
and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens,
the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum. Proceed for Evening Motor
launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Also visit the Jag
Mandir Palace - the other island palace in the middle of the lake. Spend
some time at the Jag Mandir Palace.

Day 12 : Udaipur - Kumbalgarh After breakfast drive to Kumbalgarh. En-route, visit the RANAKPUR
TEMPLES. Upon arrival at Kumbalgarh check into your hotel.
City Tour of Kumbhalgarh.Rana Kumbha, the legendary Mewari Hero, an
astute and a great builder constructed 32 of the 84 fortesses in Mewar.Of
these , the most imposing one, is Kumbalgarh - set amidst 36 Kms of
the twenty feet thick ramparts and 365 temples.It is a place for serenity
and calm of the countryside away from the madding crowd.

Day 13 : Kumbalgarh - Jodhpur This morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival at Jodhpur
check into your hotel.
Relax in the hotel. Later visit the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE.

Day 14 : Jodhpur This morning after breakfast proceed for a village safari in the
jeep and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence
of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great
desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jodhpur - gateway to the desert beyond,
home of the Rathors of Marwar, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, rising up
a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, overlooking the city
in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces
added by successive rulers. In this palace you would see different miniature
paintings & cradle room. After this you would visit Jaswant Thada
Memorial.

Day 15 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival at Jaisalmer check
into your hotel.

Day 16 : Jaisalmer After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden
City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its
temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is
a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies.
Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. (This
is the highlight of the tour) See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli
and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh Hill. In the afternoon, proceed
to the SAM SAND DUNES for visiting the typical Rajasthani Desert Village.
View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Return to
the village for dinner amidst Rajasthani musicians playing haunting
tunes.

Day 17 : Jaisalmer to Bikaner After breakfast proceed with the safari and reach Bikaner enroute
visit NAGAUR. Upon arrival at Bikaner check into your hotel.

Day 18 : Bikaner - Mandawa After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Bikaner. The city
is also called the "Camel Country". Visit the camel-breeding
farm - the only one in Asia. Visit KARNI MATA TEMPLE. Afternoon drive
to Mandawa. Upon arrival at Mandawa check into your hotel.

Day 19 : Mandawa - Delhi After breakfast proceed for city tour of Mandawa.
Visit Mandawa
Visit Mandawa , found in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home
of his descendants. See beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa
castle, one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house
of collections of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820,
ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items,
preserved in a museum. A walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some
of the leading business families of the country. and visit Mahensar
and Dundlod meeting the local village chief.
Afternoon drive to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi check into your hotel.

Day 20 : Delhi After breakfast proceed for city tour of Delhi.

Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the cremation
sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni
Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delh.

Day 21 : Delhi -Departure After breakfast transfer to the airport to catch flight for your onward
